Did you forget about me?

It’s been a while since I posted to our blog! Sorry about that. I’ll try to get you updated and then I hope to make more regular posts here! My last post was about our new home and we are still so happy to be here. We have settled in but, as all homeowners can relate to, there is always SOMETHING to do around here. We were blessed to welcome our precious daughter, Jadyn, to the world on February 1st! We are thoroughly enjoying parenthood. She is such a sweet girl and is growing way too quickly! Jordan is also doing great at work and is currently being groomed to be a manager. We are incredibly blessed by our current circumstances and the people God has placed around us.
One of the best parts of being a mom is watching my husband be a dad. He is head over heels in love with his little girl and watching him with her makes me fall more in love with him. Jadyn, is almost 9 months old and is into everything! She is a crawling machine and has learned to pull herself up to a stand and cruise around the furniture. The first few months of motherhood seemed pretty laid back and easy, but this mobile stage is definitely exhausting. I have so much fun interacting with her. She has such a big opinion for someone so little, but she truly is a gift. We have thankfully relaxed into a predictable schedule, which helps me keep my head on straight, and are excited to see what’s still to come. I am constantly thinking about the family traditions I want to begin and am so excited for our first holiday season with our cute little family!
We have been blessed in so many other areas of our life. Living in Auburn has allowed us to visit our family frequently, which is how we like it! They are a big encouragement to us and I am so thankful to have such a wonderful family. We are still enjoying going to Mars Hill Federal Way and have begun the membership process there. We have also been attending an amazing community group and have been able to foster close relationships with new friends. This is such an exciting time in our life and marriage! I have been attending BSF here in Federal Way and am loving learning more about the book of Acts and gaining a better understanding of the Holy Spirit, repentance, and living a Spirit filled life. Jordan and I are working and learning how to glorify God with our marriage and interactions and encourage each other toward our Lord. Even though having a baby can seem all consuming, by God’s grace, we have been surrounded by wonderful people to help us keep our priorities straight: God, Each other, Jadyn, Everything else. I am so excited by the spiritual growth we are experiencing and are learning to continue to dream together!
It’s been so busy and exciting around the Moore’s house the last 9 months and there really doesn’t seem to be an end in sight. Even though it feels like we are going all the time, we seem to have adjusted to this new pace of life. We could use more sleep, but we’re doing well on the amount we’re getting. I hope to post here before Jadyn is all grown up. As much as I’d like to write about our life regularly, I barely have time to live it! Thanks for reading… See you next time!

Here are a few photo's from the past few months. If you're looking for a great, reasonably priced photographer and like the photo's below, let me know and I'll get you in touch with my gal! She's great! ;-)
Nine days into our new life as a family!
 Jadyn's 6 Month Photo Shoot
Oh how we love our little girl!
Jadyn got to watch her daddy graduate with a Masters Degree when she was just 4 months old! A funny story that totally goes to show that we were sleep deprived, and stretch too thin, new parents is when we went to drive away from the ceremony, Jordan was busy buckling Jadyn in the car seat and set his Degree holder on the top of the car and we drove off leaving it somewhere between Tacoma and Auburn! Luckily, it didn't have the actual degree in it!
Family photo's are becoming a little obsession of mine!
The Moore family is so excited to have welcomed the first grand baby! She is the center of attention when she gets to visit them and is very comfortable in that role.
Jadyn loved watching the leave float to the ground.
Jadyn is a lucky girl to have cousins that live nearby. Jacob and her are already starting to play together and we can't wait for Isabelle to join them. My sister Janelle and I are already planning on our girls being best friends.
My family is also thrilled to continue welcoming grandchildren and spoil them to pieces! It's been great having the support of family during all the "first". We are so lucky to have such a vast and wonderful support system!
This is our modern family pose. It's a favorite!
 Already being dressed to match!
This is just a small example of how Jadyn is truly into EVERYTHING! Nana doesn't mind... Jadyn can do no wrong as far as Nana's concerned.
